Mechanical Design Engineer - Yorkshire - Permanent - £35000 to £42000 This client specialises in innovative technologies allowing them to design, manufacture and install their high quality systems and are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to be part of their organisation. The successful design engineer would be responsible for the designing and creating the specification of bulk handling materials. The successful candidate would prepare engineering designs which provide the company and their customers with technically optimum engineering and cost effective solutions. Key responsibilities: -Calculations relating to bulk handling including product conveying in pneumatic conveying systems -Ensuring the completeness, accuracy and technical suitability of system designs -Assist in the development of new standard products, processes and systems Essential Criteria: -Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering -Minimum 4 years industrial engineering experience -Knowledge of 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Inventor etc) -Experience with design of either: bulk handling equipment, materials handling, industrial machinery or heavy special purpose equipment. -Have an understanding or experience of engineering calculation, designs and PID drawings Benefits: -Long term development and progression opportunities including opportunities to work abroad -Well established brand -Competitive salary based on experience For consideration, please send your up to date CV to Mudiwa Mtungi at Huxley Associates
