Design Engineer/Draughtsman

I have just finished catching up with a key account client and now have an immediate requirement for a design draughtsman/ engineer/ detailer for a 3 months+ work in the North West.

The client has a few specific machines that they currently manufacture and needs a contractor to go in to help them record the designs of the machines they are currently manufacturing; to make the machines design repeatable.

You will need to have experience with:

- Hydraulic diagrams/ circuits (valves, hoses, fittings, adaptors)
- P&ID's (advantageous)
- Pro-Engineer (although Solidworks may be accepted for the right candidate)
- Machinery Design (advantageous)

The piece of work that needs to be completed is an immediate need, interviews due to take place early next week - my client is very busy at the moment so moving on to other projects and extending the contract after the initial project is highly likely.

The rate for this role is £25ph+ dependant on experience - for this project there is a limited amount (10-20%) of design, the rest is detailing the existing design of the machinery so it can be replicated for machines in the future. For other projects the rate with this client could increase.
