Design Engineer - Blown Fibre Optic Cable Plant Engineer - 6 months contract in Bristol - Defence Organisation

Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidates to apply for a BFOCP Engineer with a leading Defence and Aerospace company. This is a contract position for 6 months initially at the rate of £38.00 per hour (37 hour contract) based in Filton in Bristol. We are seeking candidates to undertake engineering aspects of implementation of the Blown Fibre Optic Cable Plant (BFOCP) system into the Type 26 global combat ship. Key Technical Skills:

*Knowledge of engineering development methodologies and strategies.
*Able to write, review and agree technical documentation.
*Requirements and acceptance management
*Platform installation and setting to work
*Ability to exploit capabilities already available within the business and other domains/sites

Key Outputs/Deliverables:

*Materials Technical Equipment Specification
*Network Design - Architecture - Ship Layouts - Structure input into Celsius tool.
*Installation Specification
*Installation Schedule
