I am currently working with a company who are now recruiting for a Design Engineer.
The chosen candidate will be Responsible for front-end engineering and completion of New Product Introduction (NPI) using the company standard processes and procedures.
They will also be responsible for bringing new ideas to fruition using the latest 3D design software and using both empirical and theoretical analysis as well as construction and generation of working prototypes.
Skills and experience required for this role includes:
Minimum of 2-3 years 3D design experience (ideally Solidworks)
Concept through to manufacture experience
Knowledge of neumatics
Desirables include:
Plastic injection mouldings design experience essential
Product and or designing with fabrics
Packaging design experience (PCB)
NPI processes, including prototypes and pre-production builds.
