Design Engineer/Designer - Unigraphics NX 7.5/Team centre

Location: Warwick

Contract Rate: Circa £32.00 per hour

Contract Length: 12 months.

A leading automotive manufacturer.

The Role:

As Mechanical Detailed Design Engineer you will be required to support the design, development and modification of powertrain systems and associated components. Using Unigraphics NX 7.5, you will ensure that detailed design activities during the life cycle of the powertrain system are carried out in a consistent, high level and precise manner, relevant to design procedures and specifications.

The Mechanical Design engineer will work with engineering teams, to ensure that any engineering concerns are investigated correctly, and to ensure that the project meets project deadlines. The design engineer might also be involved in other design activities as required.

The Candidate:

As Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an outgoing and driven person with 3D CAD and Unigraphics experience/qualifications and a mind for developing solutions for design requirements.

Ideally you will have some appreciation of the automotive industry and will have worked with engines, powertrains, castings, hoses or other similar components associated with the powertrain system. You will have an interest in working alongside engineers from a range of industries to develop powertrain systems.
