Solidworks Design Engineer - Required Urgently - Automotive - Contract

Due to continued growth and new projects won a highly regarded tier one supplier to the Automotive industry is seeking to recruit a Solidworks Design Engineer to work on a six month, on-going contract based in the East Midlands

The Role

This role will mainly involve mechanical design work related to suspension systems for the commercial and off highway vehicles. You'll be using Solidworks for 3D modelling related to complex hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies related to suspension.

Experience

With a good all round high precision design background you'll be fluent in Solidworks and have experience of working within the Automotive industry ideally in a commercial vehicle environment.

Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading, tier one supplier to the Automotive industry at a very busy and exciting time. This interesting role will include a variety of types of design work from conceptual to amending and updating existing products to tolerancing. You'll also be liaising with other departments and suppliers so you really will have the opportunity to innovate and leave your mark on a product used in vehicles across the globe.
