Design Engineer

In order to strengthen their highly qualified technical team, my client requires a Mechanical Design engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

With strong demand for bespoke drive and control solutions, including applications as diverse as ships, steel mills, presses and bridge structures, increasing numbers of customers are relying on us to be their technical partners.

Working within an integrated engineering team you will produce general assembly and circuit drawings from our engineer's concept layout brief and develop detailed manufacturing drawings in support of fabrications and control manifolds. With a busy order schedule, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within the team.

You will need to be qualified to at least ONC level, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, conversant with AutoCAD and ideally with experience in 3D modelling.
