Design Engineer

After securing two new projects for Q1 of 2013, a specialist vehicle manufacturer requires a contract Design Engineer for an initial period of 3 months to support the engineering department through a period of rapid growth.

Joining the existing design engineers, you'll be responsible for the production of 3D models and conceptual designs for chassis modification and additional exterior components. You'll also attend regular update meetings to ensure the projects move efficiently through the design and development process and into production.

Using SolidWorks, you'll demonstrate strong 3D Modelling and 2D detailing skills, with previous design experience relating to automotive or specialist vehicle chassis modifications, although not necessarily within the same role. If you have a high level of expertise with a similar CAD package and have the relevant industry experience, your CV may still be of interest.
