Design Drafter

I am currently staffing for Design Draftsmen in Dyce for one of my Key Clients who are involved in the Downhole and Subsea sector of the Oil and Gas Industry, and you could be the next recruit to join their expanding, visionary Engineering Department. This company are a World Leader in innovation in Oil and Gas, and are looking for only the most passionate of Engineers to come on board to take their Revolutionary products to a Global market. Jewel In The Crown... My client have developed a tool that has been funded by an operator that is being considered for mandatory use in all Deep Sea Operations because of its functional safety to offshore workers and the environment. This tool will change the way Oil and Gas companies see the Subsea and Downhole Industries and will transform the sector as we now know it. With other projects also underway, you will be involved in a company that truly is going places globally within not only Oil and Gas, but the defence sector also. My Client is looking for: - HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar - At least 5+ years experience with Downhole Tooling or Subsea components - A Problem Solver; someone who can think outside the box - A Tier 1 Visa is necessary for this role The Projects and Tools that my Client are developing are extremely cutting edge - they are looking for candidates who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and who really are the cream of the crop of Drafters. You will be expected to be involved in the entire Design process and you will be looked to and respected as a key member of the Engineering Team. Do you think outside the box?
