Design Automotive with CATIA V5 - Industrie

Task:
- Works on pre-designs according to customer specification and regulatory requirements
- Works on all CAD designs (parts and products) and ECR drawings in RFQ and DEV phases
- Strictly uses standard raw material or discusses need for new material with Group Leader of the Design Team
- Opens new parts and builds up product BOM in SAP
- Supports the Project Managers for pre-design studies
- Discusses part and product designs with the team, suppliers and customers
- Organizes prototype parts for engineering verification and pre-tests
- Proposes technologies and assembly techniques and cross-checks them with Production
- ls, supported by a Senior Designer, the customer contact for design issues
- Cooperates in FMEA and Control Plans from prototype to serial level
- Helps to maintain the design know-how database
- Visits customers together with Sales and Sales support engineer
- Reports monthly to the Group Leader of the Design Team

Requirements (Must have):
- Training in mechanical CAD design in 3D and 2D
- Minimum 3 years Experience in mechanical design
- Experience in automotive industry, preferably in product design
- Experience in automotive standards
- Proficiency with CATIA V5
- Experienc in electrical design work
- Experienc in design for manufacturing: plastic injection moulding, stamping
- Tolerance analysis
- English fluent
- Problem-solving
- Strategic agility
