- Deputy Property Manager
- 3 month initial contract
- Immediate start

Responsibilities

- Support the Property Manager in providing professional advice and guidance on corporate property related matters.
- Provide property advice and support to team members ie
- dealing with ongoing Landlord and Tenant issues:
- instructing agents/solicitors regarding property services such as rent reviews, rating instructions and dilapidations;
- ensuring that the rating assessments are correct, lodging appeals and dealing Rating queries;
- Liaising with colleagues and providing advice regarding Health and Safety issues, Radon, Fire safety, DDA etc.;
- Maintaining an up to date network of professional contacts;
- Liaison with Landlords.
- Day to day tasks include the following:
- identification of property;
- selection of suitable properties for inspection;
- inspection of buildings to confirm viability and likely cost;
- Preparing specification for the selection of specialist property consultants to assist in search for alternative accommodation and work with them to select suitable properties for consideration.
- To assist in the development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures to ensure we have a high performing portfolio of corporate property.
- To liaise and co-ordinate with staff to ensure agreed polices are communicated effectively and implemented locally, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including those for Health and Safety, Building and Fire Protection and maintenance of all required documentation.
- To interpret legislative and other requirements on estates for the Agency.
- To collect, collate and interpret complex and sometimes contentious performance statistics and prepare reports, presentations and briefings for senior management.
- Supported by the E&F Information Manager, manage information and communication systems for the capture, dissemination and learning and management for Estates and Facilities activities across the Agency.

b) managing the outsourced facilities contracts to achieve the required performance standards;
c) manage widened major FM projects as required;
d) performance monitoring and reporting;
e) implementing facilities management information systems and provision of reports;
f) maintain an inventory of all support and estates assets and develop and operate a pre-planned schedule of maintenance for such assets;
g) attend regular account and quarterly FM contract strategic meetings on behalf of Property Management Manager.
