A global consulting giant have a requirement for a Deputy Pensions & Benefits Manager for an initial 6 months contract to be based in London. The role will be based around supporting senior management in the roll out of governance and strategy with regard to retirement and benefit programmes.

Your responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to the following:

- To help the team in the development and implementation of retirement solutions
- To help design, develop and support short, medium and long term retirement and overall benefits strategy for the business
- To work with the Global Pensions Manager to ensure that the benefits programs is competitive and links to the total rewards strategy across UK and Ireland
- To establish, communicate and maintain pension policy, process and operational guidelines
- To provide guidance and recommendations for implementation of new, or for amendment to existing retirement programs.
- To support the business in the control of risk, the design of pension solutions and the management of costs with regard to all BPO transitions, new acquisitions or disposals, and with any headcount reduction programs where there is a retirement impact.

You required to have the following:

- Significant knowledge of local pensions
- Knowledge of pensions impacts arising from BPO transitions, mergers and acquisitions, and disposals
- Knowledge of pensions impacts arising from headcount reduction exercises and redundancy programs
