REAL STAFFING ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT IN A LARGE CSU BASED IN THE SOUTH.
This is a senior management role and carries significant responsibility:
Duties will include:
* Developing procurement strategies & policies
* Providing all strategic procurement advice to other team members
* Manage end to end tenders/procurements for both clinical and non-clinical categories
* Working with all stakeholders and ensuring procurement knowledge and advice is embedded
* Managing and training a large team
Skills Required:
*MCIPS
* 3 years minimum NHS experience plus procuring of clinical and non-clinical categories
* Experience of working in commissioning previously, either through CCG or CSU
* Expert knowledge of OJEU and relevant regulations
* Contract Management
