Deputy Asset Manger Unix Platform (Brussells)

Je functie: Context
Assist our Unix Asset manager in his day-to-day activities. In charge of the recurrent tasks related to Unix Asset Management with prime focus on Risk and Security aspects As deputy, he is full backup of our Unix Asset Manager during his absences.

Function Description
Reporting and follow-up of processes related to the Risk and Security aspects for the Unix Asset Management.
° Unix Logs review: analysis and follow-up (justification, requests for information and validation, …) of monthly events reported in the different UNIX logs (based on OSSEC Use Cases and Audit Trails)
o Events reported by Xpolog
o Events will soon be reported by CA ControlMinder / Splunk and probably Session Reporter.
Preparation and animation of the "Monthly UNIX Security Board Committee" to get all Unix reported events reviewed and validated.
° Definition and validation of the new Use Cases linked to ControlMinder, Splunk & Session Reporter.
° Vulnerability Management & Security Watch
* First analysis, follow-up and coordination regarding vulnerabilities reported by Qualys & Archer
* Qualify impact, follow-up and coordination after Security Watch alerts
* Set-up macro-planning for remediation
* supervise Security assessment of OS images (Qualys on-demand scan and penetration tests)
° Control & update of the formal documents related to Unix Asset, and to documents linked to Audit points, Control Plan action list, PCI Control Plan, Policy Compliance Monitoring,

Technical writer with good knowledge of the Security Model and of the Unix platform.
Used to manage recurrent tasks in a formal context.
