Deployment Planning Lead

We are currently looking to recruit a PLM Testing Lead to work on our clients i-PLM programme, as part of our continued growth. Our clients i-PLM programme team is responsible for all aspects of PLM toolset selection, implementation, use and support. The team is embarking on an enterprise wide deployment of the Enovia PLM suite in partnership with Dassault Systemes, to replace a complex array of Legacy systems inherited as part of the separation from Ford. At the same time the company is undertaking a replacement of many of the Legacy transactional systems with SAP.

The new integrated process and systems landscape that is enabled by the toolset replacements provides opportunities for substantial business transformation. One key area that is expected to see large improvements is virtual product definition and validation. This applies from very early in the product development cycle with design schemes and early packaging studies for new models, through to full manufacturing process and service simulation.

The Role

Provide planning expertise and leadership to enable the i-PLM programme to develop and execute its deployment plan.
Responsible for:
oCreation and maintenance of deployment plans
oCreation of communication material for use at all levels of the company up to and including Board level.
oDefinition and measurement of metrics and KPIs needed to ensure successful deployment
Interface with a wide variety of team members within the programme team and stakeholders across client, including senior business leads, subject matter experts and users, internal IT and 3rd party implementers, strategic partners and product vendors.

The Person

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience of the deployment of complex PLM implementations within an engineering environment
High levels of competence in project management techniques and tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead a team of programme planners
Experience of the automotive PLM space
