Demand Planner (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Act as a single point of contact for our customers (affiliates/direct markets/other) for relevant demand planning topics (targets/key performance indicators/service level agreements)
-Collaborate with Forecaster on product forecasting process management, identification and management of strategies to manage demand variability and forecast accuracy
-Continuously analyze the forecast, review forecasted quantities at consolidated level, check for imbalances and monitor alerts
-Accountable for the independent demand completeness and correctness for the appropriate horizon (SKU; for 36M)
-Reducing and highlighting business exposures around product expiration and potential upside and downside risk scenarios
-Help articulate and communicate demand uncertainties and risks and develop options for optimizing inventory, replenishment and demand plans to supply planning
-Manage all independent demand types for finished goods, drug product and drug substance and be accountable for the quality of demand (completeness and correctness)
-Escalate independent demand changes and risks to the Product Supply Chain Owner (PSCO) according to defined thresholds
-Responsible for defining the suitable planning constraints jointly with supply planner and is accountable that the agreed constraints are implemented
-Responsible to monitor demand plan stability and drive continuous improvement to targets
-Responsible for managing key parameters/key performance indicators/targets, used in the demand planning area (finished goods safety stock parameter revision/forecast accuracy
-Responsible for presenting on status and issues on product supply for their respective market or region to the Sales & Operations Planning meeting
-Responsible for consulting and informing regional Supply Chain Head of demand and supply issues for their respective region
-Responsible for developing replenishment plans at the distribution center including communication of changes outside of defined thresholds to supply planning

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Experience in Supply Chain (Production Planning/Scheduling/Supply Chain)
-BS degree in related field required, Master or MBA preferred
-Strong supply chain management acumen, APICS certification preferred
-Experience with ERP and supply chain systems, specific experience with SAP R/3, SAP BW
-Good understanding of: pharmaceutical industry (drug development and regulatory environment), supply chain processes (supply planning, material requirements planning, capacity planning, order management, demand planning, data management
-Project management experience
-Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
