Delivery Manager - Digital

SUMMARY

The role of the Delivery Manager - Digital will sit within the Retail Transformationan ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is a articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
-A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
-A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
-Evidence of having proactively looked for innovative ways to exploit digital technology to improve the service delivered to customers
-Demonstrable experience of delivering Digital tools and technologies (web and mobile) with relevant product knowledge (eg Adobe WEM, Sitecore) an advantage
-Role relevant qualifications (eg Agile. MSP, APM, PMI, Prince2)
- Relevant product knowledge (eg Adobe WEM, Sitecore) is an advantage as well as wxperience working in Utilities sector is desirable not essential

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

-Define and manage the Digital delivery through the complete life cycle (ie requirements, business case, product selection/procurement, detailed design, implementation & cutover, embed, benefits realisation) to time, cost and quality
- Work with and manage the activities of System Integrator(s) and product vendors through the complete life cycle
- Provide best practice guidance based on experience and understanding of implementing and supporting Digital technologies and tooling
-Develop an understanding of the high-level business and technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and drive decisions accordingly
-Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
-Produce project documentation in line with Thames Water standards
- Monitor and report on progress against scope, milestones and budget in line with PMO standards
-To anticipate, manage and resolve risks and issues and act as the primary point of contact for the project
