Defect Manager - ALM - Financial Services

DEFECT MANAGER - ALM - FINANCIAL SERVICES

Based in Halifax a Defect Manager is required on a contract basis to work on to carry defect management on major programmes of work and BAU Releases.

Candidates need experience of defect management within the banking/FS sector and experience of using the ALM tool.

Other key skills are:

- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation & Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing.
- Ability to use Quality Centre to produce management information on the progress of testing.
- Knowledge of automated test tools such as QTP.
- Knowledge of MS-Project - ability to produce a deliverables based plan.
- Good presentation skills - ability to present complex ideas in a simple way to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to take responsibility for writing Test Strategy/Test plans and provide input to Environment strategies.
- Carry our reviews all testing documentation for required test phases.

There is a strong potential for a long term contract, excellent working environment (including working from home).

Start date - any time between now and end of October.
