Debt Pricing Analyst

The Debt Pricing SAS/SQL Analyst will be joining a growing and successful subprime financial institution as part of the company's risk team.

The role is for a Debt Pricing SAS/SQL Analyst from a collections or debt sale background and who is proficient in the use of SAS/SQL software packages for analytics within debt sale strategy.

THE COMPANY:

The financial organisation is one of the UK's leading provider of Credit Cards and are currently looking for a Debt Pricing SAS/SQL Analyst to join their emerging team. The business is offering the opportunity to work within a developing and exciting company in a stand-alone role where your analytics will impact business decisions directly.

THE ROLE:

The Debt Pricing SAS/SQL Analyst will primarily be involved in analytics and the pricing and valuation of debt portfolios to collection agencies. The vacancy will give you the opportunity to liaise with the Management to discuss the latest business activity thus allowing you to gain a deeper understanding on the company's processes and systems. The analysis will be carried out to establish the value as of portfolios in order to drive and optimise revenue for the business.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The Debt Pricing SAS/SQL Analyst must display the following;
* Strong experience using SAS and SQL is essential.
* Highly analytical with excellent planning and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work unsupervised with a personal drive to succeed
* Proven experience working within a financial services organization
* Knowledge of debt sale, pricing and collections data.
* Knowledge of credit card products is desirable
