*THIRD SHIFT ONLY - MONDAY NIGHT THRU FRIDAY MORNING 8PM-6:30AM*
Contractor will be part of a team doing various network activities such as switch/Router port configuration and turn ups, configuring various routing changes for various projects, primary role will be for IMS and VoLTE POD. Coordinating with internal customers and adhering to our process and procedures to protect the network and customers. These team work nights.
Responsible for the advanced installation, operation, and maintenance of the NEC (data center) elements consisting of Switches, Routers, load balancers, Firewalls, taps, and data collection/aggregators, ensuring network integrity and quality. These networks include, but are not limited to, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, HSRP, ACL's Ethernet, and peripherals in a data center environment. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting; upgrading; administering these platforms and multiple vendor systems; maintaining system, element and platform applications; and providing support to a varied user community; updating daily logs with site-specific information; and composing clear, concise reports for system documentation.
Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper and/or F5 in large scale, high availability networks expected.
Certifications CCNA, CCNP, JNICA-JUNOS
