My client is one of the biggest clients in central Brussels and they are in need for a DB2 DBA with Linux knowledge to join their growing team.
You will provide DB2 technical expertise.
If you are knowledgeable with DB2 and are capable of performing the intermediate to advanced skills required in the day-to-day administration of DB2 instances and databases, you may benefit from this role.
You will be responsible for outage/incident management - from initial troubleshoot/resolution though to root cause analysis and driving subsequent corrective measure implementation.
You will be responsible for application support to developers.
Your role will involve performance and tuning.
You will have project work, including migrations, version upgrades, operational acceptance testing for products being delivered by the database engineering group etc.
Your role will encompass Scripting, automation and bug fixes.
