Datawatch BI Dashboard Developer - Lausanne.
Our client, a major international based in Lausanne, is looking for an interactive BI Dashboard Developer specialised in Datawatch.
As a senior data visualisation expert, you will be required to work as both an analyst and strategist while at the same time developing engaging visuals. This position is to create reports but also consult with the business to implement best practices to optimise the use experience.
You will be required to design, prototype and iterate create concepts to meet user requirements while a the same time drawing on data from a number of different sources.
You are specialised in Datawatch with experience of BI toolkits such as Tableau, Qlikview, Microstrategy and Spotfire as well as being able to write complex SQL queries on Oracle or Sybase. You will also have a strong background in PL/SQL.
A strong understanding of dataflows is essential for this position and some experience with Java, Javascript or other GUI applications would be a strong advantage. Experience of Hadoop or similar data platforms would be a plus.
As well as strong technical skills, the ability to understand and interpret functional and non-functional specifications from a wide variety of sources is essential while maintaining a strong sense of data and BI presentation or story-telling.
