DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER

The Datawarehouse Analytics team is seeking an experienced Developer and Systems Analyst with a remit to:

- Focus on data integration;
- Develop and maintain interfaces between Corporate Systems (primarily Oracle); and Manage data flow into a Datawarehouse

DELIVERABLES

- Share knowledge - mentor and develop skills in other team members.
- Produce technical design documents for developers;
- Collaborate with developers to ensure technical design is being followed;
- Carry out code reviews; and
- Act as a 3rd tier escalation for ETL support.

SKILLS

- Minimum 3 years Oracle software development cycle experience as an analyst/developer;
- Oracle Development experience, writing PL/SQL, query optimisation;
- Conceptual, Dimensional, Logical
- Datawarehouse/Data Mart/BI design;
- 10g development including database DDL, DML, DAC, ETL (Informatica PowerCenter), RPD, Answers, Dashboards and metadata repository;
- Designing and developing OBIEE Metadata Repository ie Physical Layer;
- Business model mapping and presentation layer for various subject areas; and
- Able to assist in application performance tuning efforts creating Aggregates Fragmentation, Materialized views, indexes, partitions etc.
- Must be able to travel to Reading and Newcastle.
