DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER - 6 MONTHS, THE NETHERLANDS

GLOBAL ENTERPRISE PARTNERS IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER, FOR A 6 MONTH PROJECT IN AMSTERDAM - WITH A POSSIBLE EXTENSION.

Central to this project is a completely "from scratch" data warehouse to be built and an environment that allows ad hoc analysis to be performed on existing internal and external data sources.

As part of the Business Intelligence team, you are working on a plan for a completely new data warehouse, choosing between Inomn or Kimball, what are the pros and cons of data virtualization and whether we need to go for Data Vault modelling or another method.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS OF DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER;

- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure solutions such as SQL server, Data Factory, SQL datawarehouse, Data catalog, Power BI
- Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle and SQL
- Experience with Agile working and thinking
- Fluency in Dutch is preferred

THE ROLE OF DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER;

- Extensive experience in modelling, setting up and managing databases.
- Questioning the team and updating the latest techniques and methods.
- Informal team leadership and communication towards the product owner and business stakeholders.
- BI with knowledge of architectures and standards (including data warehouses, master data management, ETL, OLAP, modelling techniques like Kimball and Data Vault, meta data management, data quality management, Hadoop, Advanced Analytics, reports and self-service BI)

DETAILS OF THE DATAWAREHOUSE DEVELOPER CONTRACT;

- START DATE: ASAP
- DURATION: 6 months, with possible extension
- LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
- RATE: competitive, depending on experience
