Data Warehouse/ETL Developer

Background:
This development team strives to deliver a standardized data warehousing and reporting framework to enable technology users globally to view and report on a variety of operational and inventory data sources in a centralized place and in a consistent way.

Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of system interface requirements and production of technical specifications to work from and/or provide to other ETL resources.
Develop and maintain new and existing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL.
Design and implement solutions that meet key requirements for audit, data quality, performance, scalability and security.
Design and implement solutions that handle multiple data sources in the same data model.
Design and develop SSAS cubes.

Technical Knowledge/Experience:
Strong development experience using the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server 2012/2008 R2)
Strong T-SQL development experience
Strong experience with SSIS developing end to end ETL processes for large scale data warehouse
Familiar with using other data sources in SSIS like Sybase, Oracle, flat files, web services and message queues
Good experience designing and developing SSAS cubes
Working knowledge of SSRS
Knowledge of Datamodelling techniques (Kimball preferred)
Knowledge of Business Objects a plus
