Data warehouse Analyst/Designer
6 month initial contract
€500 - 600 per day
Near Antwerp, Belgium
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced DWH Analyst/Designer to join one of our leading client's technical division based on site in Beerse, Belgium. This industry ;leading organization requires a Data Warehouse specialist to bring their expertise to the team, driving business forward and liaising within a team of likeminded colleagues to shape and update the warehouse
For the new Operational Data Warehouse: Many entities will need to be added, as well as a number of new source systems. Analysis of business requirements, and translation of these requirements in updates to the warehouse structure and functional specifications for the development team.
Development Methodologies, Tools, and Platforms to be used
*3NF warehouse modelling, SQL
*Windows OS + MS Office
*ERwin
*various database tools such as Toad, Squirrel
Profile requirements
*Analysis, design of data warehouse solutions
*Strong analytic mindset
*Capable of performing to the bone analysis in a short time
*Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
*Capable of writing precise and complete specifications
*Experience with a Master Data Management System is a plus
Non-Technical profile requirements:
*Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
*Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
*Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
*Quick learner, motivated self-starter
*Follow change management procedures and other internal guidelines
*Eager
*Experience with a global work environment is a plus
Methodology/Certification requirements:
*Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
*Additional certification is a plus
*Language proficiencies: English spoken and written, Dutch is a plus
