Projektbeschreibung
KEY SKILLS:
- Experience with design of applications and associated datacenter network design
- Application/Linux/Windows/DC networking knowledge, tailored hosting
- Knowledge of operator networks and telephony is a plus
- Strong analytical capabilities mandatory -> HBO/HBO+ education level (or comparable) required
- Capacity to work well with other people, be able to connect people (focal point) and to make things happen (result driven)
- Very dynamic work environment, flexibility in behaviour is highly necessary
- Experience with working in an Agile environment is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The technical consultant will join the customer's OSS Datacenter Infrastructure Maintenance Program team in order to implement a complex DC application migration project
- He/she will be responsible of the preparation of service migration to the new DC infrastructure incl. the development of the landing spot within the DC infrastructure for the to-be-migrated (maintenance) applications
This means:
- Intake and analysis of current application/process architectures
- Supporting the definition of the business requirements
- Creating the solution design
- Assessment of migration complexity
- Determine standards and work-packages
- Support customer's MSP (ie the MSP's technical application management/specialists) during preparation phase
- Prepare infrastructure delivery
- Prepare the network connectivity for the new environment (incl. supporting of the MSP's network engineers)
- Being the key stakeholder (spider-in-the-web, focal point) to make the migrations successful
