- Must hold a relevant primary degree eg: Computer Science or related field,
- 3+ years commercial experience of Database Administration/Data Integration/ETL Development/Database Design/Data Warehouses/Datamarts
- 3+ years commercial SQL/PLSQL database skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions,
- Experience with Real Time and batch-based data integration,
- Experience with logical schema design (star/snowflakes) and implementation for analysis/reporting.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of performance contention and DB housekeeping such as the need for deletion, etc.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Data Preparation Analysis.
- Database development.
- Excellent relational database skills (SQL/PLSQL).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, etc),
- Data Models, joins and indexing.
- Exposure to Teradata/Oracle Data warehouses/Datamarts
