Database Developer

Database developer wanted for an international bank in Zurich.
YOUR TASKS:
- Participating in the development of a large Java EE application
- Analyzing, designing, implementing and unit testing of Database components
- Refactoring of existing functionality and re-design of application components
- Migrating existing application components to the new service layer
- Participating on code reviews and other quality assurance actions
- Enhancing current solution and getting involved in maintaining the product
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of Database development
- Strong understanding with Transact SQL for SQL Server 2012 and in database tuning
- Proven experience on large projects, large systems as well as strong knowledge of software design principles and design patterns
- Practice in the banking sector is additional
- Knowledge of ColdFusion, OS Windows and Unix/Linux is an advantage
- Languages: fluent English written and spoken
