10 or more years of experience understanding of the technology. Designs and implements large, very complex solutions involving multiple systems. Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Supports testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product. Helps prepare both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Will be responsible for creation of concept, design, testing and maintenance of applications and Intranet sites. Will meet frequently with staff before and during project, to ascertain requirements, and also afterwards to train staff in the proper maintenance of applications.

Also, This position requires a strong programming background, OOP and modular coding techniques. The position requires expertise on all tiers of an end-to-end .NET application. The individual should have Front End applications building experience. This position also requires strong SQL programming skills and will be responsible for creating the Back End tables, stored procedures, and views to support the Front End. The individual will be creating and maintaining SSIS packages.

Specific Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-available applications using MS technologies, .NET Framework 2.x, SQL Server 2005, VS 2005
Design and develop the UI of customer-facing claim processing applications
Perform mid to expert level T-SQL programming; create tables, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, user functions, and views.
Produce test cases and regression scripts
Create specific, detailed and clear documentation for internal and external use
Work with other business units in order to gather and understand the business needs and to find creative solutions

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years developing large scale n-tier systems
3+ years experience with .NET programming and architecting .NET platforms. Must be proficient with VB.NET
3+ years experience with SQL Server 2000/2005
Experience with Windows Server environment and IIS
Familiarity with Visual Source Safe
C#, ASP.NET, SSIS, SharePoint, Crystal Report, and Reporting Services is a plus
