Database Administrator - Oracle Mssql SRRS SSIS Powershell

DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - ORACLE MSSQL SRRS SSIS POWERSHELL

One of my leading consultancies are looking for an experienced DBA to join them. As a DBA, you are part of a support team managing customers databases of all kind (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, Postgresql, ) on different OS (Windows, Unix-like) in hosted environments.

Responsibilities

- Provide 24x7 operation support on all the Production, Test and Development databases
- Perform Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, and Migration of Databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve database availability, connectivity, performance issues, and security issues
- Troubleshoot application related issues, timeouts, deadlocks, and maintain application performance
- Ensure all databases are backed up to meet the business's Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery time Objective (RTO)
- Perform database restores as needed, either in production or to refresh Test/UAT/ACC environment databases
- Monitor alerts dashboard and incident ticket queue to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Configure database monitoring using third party tools and reduce false alarms
- Work on documenting database environments and standard operating procedures

Requirements

- Very good knowledge & troubleshooting skills in MSSQL from 2008 to 2016 (including HA-DR solution) - at least 5 years' experience
- Experience with SSRS/SSIS, PowerShell, TDE is a plus
- Good knowledge & troubleshooting skills in Oracle DBMS 12c, 18c (including
- RMAN, Dataguard, RAC, ASM, ) - at least 3 years' experience
- Knowledge of 1 other database (MySQL, postgres, DB2, ) is a plus
- Good knowledge in database daily operations (monitoring, backup, Installation, configuration, tuning, users mgt, security roles, )
- SQL, PL/SQL knowledge is a real plus.
