ANALYTICS IN-MEMORY DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DBA): 

The DBA will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the data warehouse including server resource management, security, backup, archiving, optimization and tuning at both the server and query level and will play a major role in extending the data structures. The DBA will be involved in analysing and evaluating existing systems. The DBA's expertise will be called upon to help enhance best practices in terms of data warehouse design, implementation, standardization, and optimization. The DBA will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining a "Big Data" data warehouse environment using Oracle database technologies. 
The Database Administrator will be required to perform the following main tasks: 
Designs initial/pilot solutions to handle the loading of non-Oracle data sources including sources with unstructured data and big data based file systems (eg, Hadoop) 
Assists the Business Intelligence Architects to architect and design a solution to manage master data using tools such as Oracle's MDM Repository Manager or the Informatica Metadata Manager 
Designs an improved solution to handle backup and recovery of a non-transactional database and implement this solution in the newly created Business Intelligence backup environment 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
The candidate must have at least five (5) or more years of experience as a DBA with related knowledge & skills including data warehouse, database management, system design, hardware assessment and evaluation, documentation, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting 
The candidate must have hands on experience in implementing data warehouse environment. Experience and expertise in Oracle required. Experience configuring using "big-data" technologies such as Hadoop, CasandraDB, MongoDB, etc. 
The candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience as a DBA on Oracle database version 10g or above. At least two (2) years of experience on Oracle database version 11g or higher 
Linux/Unix systems administration experience for least three (3) years as a DBA supporting databases on HP Unix version 11.23 or higher 
Experience using programming/Scripting languages to interact with SQL/no-SQL data stores and at least three (3) years of experience in writing PL/SQL objects 
The candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience using Oracle Grid Control 10g or higher. Including Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack and Change Management Pack 
The candidate must have experience designing a database from a logical data model 
The candidate must have experience using the ERWin data model (logical and physical) tool 
The candidate must have one (1) year experience supporting Oracle databases on a Storage Area Network (SAN) utilizing HP XP and EVA disk storage
