DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (EXAMPLE OF):

- Monitor all LIVE databases availability ensuring zero downtime 24 x 7 X 365
- Releasing and installing new applications and patches
- Check and analyse data with a respect to efficiency and performance
- General troubleshooting and give consultation to the business and development users.
- Communication regularly with windows, networks and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
- Monitoring user access and security
- Controlling access permissions and privileges
- Monitoring and managing backup and recovery plans
- Releasing and installing new reports and upgrades/CR's to existing reports
- Check and analyse reporting data with a respect to efficiency and performance
- Controlling access permissions and privileges

- Monitoring and managing data merging and data replication to the reporting data warehouses.
