An exciting opportunity is currently available in Stockholm, Sweden for an English-speaking DATAWAREHOUSE EXPERT. This position is located in the Public Sector.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent knowledge of data warehouse modelling and implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of SQL Server Integration Services.
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2012.
- Experience with MS Analysis Services.
- Experience with automatic map generation (eg, using GIS tools) would be advantageous.
- Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services and RDL would be advantageous.
- Experience with the tools used in the TESSy development project is advantageous.
- Experience with surveillance and laboratory data is advantageous.
TASKS:
- Report to the head of the .NET development group.
- The consultant shall participate in the regular meetings of the development team.
- The consultant should work as defined in the Scrum team sprint as a full team member of the Scrum team. Tasks are recorded in an internal system, monitored, and followed up as part of the Scrum process.
- Depending on the consultant's profile, specific tasks for 2014 will be to:
- Maintain the TESSy code base and fix bugs.
- Implement interfaces to other systems.
- Implement and coordinate development activities with external partners.
- Implement new and maintain existing data marts in the TESSy data warehouse.
- Implement new and maintain existing standard or disease-specific reports.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Excellent English (written/oral).
- Swedish skills are not required.
This position is offered as a freelance contract with a duration from April, 1, 2014 until approx. Jan., 31, 2015.
