KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify relevant data
- Draw up data models that map the data structures to answer one or more analytical questions
- Ensure the stability and performance of data warehouse as a whole.
- Dwell on the reusability of the data and contribute to a generic data warehouse that is flexible enough to also answer future questions.
- Provide the necessary information to ETL processes to implement the solution
- Make sure that all data objects are documented both functionally and technically.

KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

- In touch with the (technological) possibilities within Business Intelligence (eg reporting applications, analytics tooling, data mining applications, data warehouse technologies, Big Data, ...)
- Understand the value of information and comprehend raw data into relevant information/insights
- Customer focused
- Communicates well and knows how to convince others through commitment, assertiveness and accessibility
- Think analytically and distinguish detail of essence
- Can enter into the world of the end user
- Can adjust easily to new situations
- Open to innovation and know how to give ideas on creative expression
- Solve problems paying attention to simplicity and efficiency in the process
- Fluent in Dutch and English

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience in data modelling (preferably SAP Sybase Power Designer) and database technologies (preferably Sybase IQ)
- Experience/affinity with an ETL tool (preferably Informatica PowerCenter)
- Experience in SQL
- Experience/affinity with a reporting tool (preferably SAP Business Objects) is a plus.
