This is a CONTRACT engagement (W2)

We are unable to sponsor visa holders for this project. Relocation funds will NOT be provided.

The project is scheduled to start September 5th and run for 5 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an a Data Warehouse Architect with 8-10 years of ETL design and Development experience with a minimum of 3 years in a lead role. They need to have the ability to understand existing ETL processes and reengineer them for a more integrated, robust, and scalable solution. This person needs to have expert level development skills using Informatica 9. X Powercenter. Troubleshooting capabilities for complex problems with root cause identification and be able to design multiple solution based approaches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8-10 Yrs of ETL design & development experience in BI/DW projects.

Minimum of 3-5 Yrs experience as lead
-

Very clear understanding and design experience in data mart design and various concepts related to building a DW.

Ability to effectively work with the business to drive requirements gathering
-

Expert level development using Informatica 9.x Powercenter (must)

Experience using Oracle 11G, MS SQL Server, and Progress

Some experience with Unix Scripting

Working experience in onsite/offshore model with ability to balance the right amount of documentation and handoff.

Expertise in designing and developing scalable Informatica ETL mappings/sessions/workflows for complex data integration projects.

Expert experience with industry wide accepted standards in ETL design and development using Informatica Powercenter.

Ability to understand existing ETL processes in place and reengineering those for more integrated, robust, and scalable solutions.

Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with root cause identification and designing multiple solution approaches.
