Data Warehouse Architect

Consulting Services, Solutions on DevelopmentDATA PROFILING; END-TO-END DESIGN OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS TO EXTRACT, TRANSFORM AND LOAD THE DATA; BE INVOLVED IN REQUIREMENTS GATHERING; COLLABORATE WITH FRONT END TEAM; CONSTRUCT, UNIT TESTING AND AUTOMATING THE EXTRACT, TRANSFORMATION AND LOADING PROCESS
- Support development of the logical data model
- Physical data model design, development & implementation
- Provision of clear & concise technical documentation
- Document technical specifications based on user requirements
- Document recommendations about the reference architecture for the data warehousing solutions, mapping it within the specific Oracle environment
- Implement, test and performance tune ETL infrastructure and architecture according to agreed specifications
- High quality contribution to the enterprise data model
- Standard operating procedures for data warehouse tuning and monitoring
- Provide clear and understandable documentation of the deliverables and DW Operations and Installation manuals

THE CANDIDATE:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field
- At least 5 years of experience is required in roles covering the key responsibilities described above
- The majority of the core systems in the project are implemented using Oracle products (Databases & ETL), therefore practical and proven experience in the design of Oracle solutions is necessary
- Practical experience of gathering information requirements and business process analysis
- Hands on experience of designing, developing & implementing ETL processes using industry-standard ETL tools
- Building/tuning procedures with PL/SQL
- Practical knowledge and experience of Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Datamodelling (logical and physical)
- Excellent understanding of business processes
- Experience of implementing solutions in Enterprise level Data Warehousing projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
