Data Support Analyst

DATA SUPPORT ANALYST

A Data Support Analyst is urgently required for an immediate start with a major Financial Services client based in Amsterdam.

The client is looking for a Data Support Analyst with a hands-on mentality to complement the team, this person will have strong communication skills, will be capable of being a sparring partner for the business as well as for IT. The Data Support Analyst must be highly analytical with demonstrable experience in critical thinking and problem solving. The ideal candidate has an analytical background and has experience in a data support or data transformation role.

The Data Support Analyst will ideally have 65% + of the following skills and experience:

- Fluent English, Dutch speakers strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of SQL (preferably T-SQL ) is required.
- Analytical mind-set.
- Experience with ALM, Matched Funding, Liquidity Risk Management is preferred.
- Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) is required
- Experience with implementing/running (risk) systems in finance is 'nice to have'
- Strong data analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of database techniques.
- Experienced in testing data flows and data transformations.
- Knowledge of ALM, Risk and/or Finance processes is preferred.
- Ability to translate requirements of business partners into data/business configuration.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working is preferred.

The Data Support Analyst will be responsible for activities including:

- Analysis of data-related Requests for Change raised by our User Base
- Helping to further improve the operating model
- Performing change management on business configuration items in the Data Staging Tool whilst maintaining the high performance and structured solutions currently being rolled out to users globally.
