Data Strategist/Analyst

My client are an international bank are recruiting a DATA STRATEGIST/ANALYST

The Data Strategist/Analyst is responsible for driving for driving the Data Strategy around the management of CIB Client referential, taking into account requirements from the Business, Risk, Finance, ITO (and other functions such a legal, Compliance etc), as well as the regulatory BCBS 239 demands. The Data Strategist/Analyst will be responsible for analysing and documenting existing data processes, determining ownership, creating glossaries, identifying quality gaps, proposing changes, overseeing development and regularly report to management and stakeholders.

DELIVERABLES:

Animate specific data working group with the aim to define the data governance.

Performing "as- is" analysis of existing data management processes (data linage and producing clear detailed documentation and reports.

Working with relevant stakeholders to collate, organise, define and create the business glossary and data dictionary including functional descriptions and nomenclature related to critical data terms.

Defining and creating data quality monitoring dashboard and regularly reporting updates to management and stakeholders.

Contributing to the definition of a communication plan aiming at changing the CIB mind set towards data (data value, ownership and life cycle management).
