Data Storage Engineer (C6)

  Finite Canberra has a Government client that is seeking a DATA STORAGE ENGINEER. This is a contract opportunity for 6 months with a possible 1 year extension option. For this role you  must be an Australian Citizen holding a high level security clearance.

Skills Required:

- 8-10 years of IT work experience with at least 5 years as a SAN Administrator
- Enterprise backup experience, commvault
- Storage array concepts and layout experience including RAID Implementations, Pool storage design, LUN Sizing and volume configuration, working knowledge of Host storage Discovery Techniques.
- Cisco MDS 95xx series San switch expertise
- Windows 200/2003 server admin experience
- Knowledge of VMware Zones
- Expertise in SAN Administration Tools
- Experience with Symantec Volume Manager, Symantec Cluster
- Proven ability to maintain leading edge skills
