My client is a top Energy provider in France who is looking to take on a Data Scientist for a brand new team in Paris. They require a data science expert who combines extensive experience in data analytics and data warehousing along with business and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will have exposure to data analytics related to industrial process optimization from previous roles.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferred) with 5+ years relevant experience
- Broad knowledge of data warehousing, data analytics and machine learning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and high level overview of the business value of data
- Good understanding of Hadoop/Mapreduce would be an advantage
- Programming in Java, Python or Perl
- Fluent in French and English
This is a contract role with a competitive daily rate.
