Projektbeschreibung
To capture data from multiple sources and produce regular and ad hoc reports (these reports to include plans, delivery status, risks, issues, dependencies, changes, finances, resourcing and KPIs) that are accurate and consistent.
To identify and implement changes that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Entertainment reporting process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The analysis of multiple data-sources and creation of a consolidated data-set that is current, trusted, easily accessible and is the single source of information for all Entertainment reporting requirements.
The introduction and ongoing management of data/reporting processes and tools (Clarity, QlikView, JIRA etc.)
The design and creation of the full suite of Entertainment reports; including, consolidated top-level portfolio reports, program and project-level progress tracking and financial/budget management reports.
Liaise with relevant parties (eg Platforms, Programs, Projects, Finance, Partners) to generate & circulate regular and ad hoc reports.
Agree and document the process/tools used to produce the agreed set of regular reports.
Maintain and communicate the Entertainment reporting calendar (including deadlines for input), and ensure that this aligns with and supports the Entertainment governance/meeting schedule.
Ensure alignment between different reports (eg Clarity views, Program Board reports, Steering Committee packs).
Identify and resolve report-related data quality issues.
Check all reports for quality, completeness and consistency - this includes checking for alignment with each other and with the current versions of plans & dependencies, risk/issue/change/action logs, and other agreed information sources - and reviewing/finalising these reports with the relevant parties before publication.
Handle report-related queries and provide advice and guidance to Entertainment colleagues and other parties (eg Partners) where appropriate.
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the Entertainment domain for all matters relating to reporting, analytics & report-related data quality.
Maintain Reporting-related folders in the agreed document repository, and ensure that all reports and related documents are available in this repository (with appropriate access controls to preserve confidentiality where required).
Plan and deliver Entertainment reporting improvements.
Develop effective internal and external relationships as required.
COMPETENCIES/SKILL REQUIRED
5+ years of experience as a Data & Reporting analyst (or equivalent) in a product delivery environment
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and statistical analysis techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (ie QlikView, Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (ie XML, JavaScript)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Experience of extracting data from PPM tools such as Clarity, Jira etc.
Strong people and relationship skills
Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment - ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form
Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward or obtain results
Able to work autonomously, allowing the manager to manage by exception
Ability to prioritize and organize workload
Excellent attention to detail, able to consistently deliver reports of high quality
Fluent English speaker, at ease and effective in operating in an international working environment
