Data Network Specialist - UC, Voice, DC, ITIL, WAN, Security, Unified Communications
Role & Responsibilities
* Providing consulting and advisory services to global clients in the technology infrastructure domain. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required.
* Responsible for liaising with senior members from customer's IT and/or business units to understand the business and operational requirements
* Assist the pre-sales teams in building comprehensive solutions covering all life cycle phases, technology adoption and migration road-maps
* Presentation of solutions to customer and influence the customer on decision making
* Consultancy on the service improvement programs and possible automation for delivery team
* Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects.
* Detailed designing, technical consulting and implementation services. High Level Design, Low Level design and Acceptance test planning for Data & Voice Networks
* Work on High end technical consultancy assignments. Leadership in handling technical issues and escalations. Closely work with Project Managers and customer technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
Technical Skills
* Expert in Data/Voice network Design and Optimization
* Hands on in experience in either data or voice technologies
* Designing solution architecture for networking, voice and unified communications infrastructure
* Extensive knowledge and exposure to DC, WAN, Campus and Branch IT infrastructure, Enterprise Data, Voice and Unified Communication and Collaboration technologies
* Products - Must have exposure to data and voice products from leading vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, HP, Juniper, and Riverbed etc.
* Must have good techno-commercial skills
* Understanding of technology infrastructure monitoring tools and management frameworks
* Well versed with latest industry trends in the specific function
* Expert in ITIL processes
* Good Written & Verbal Communication Skills
* Highly dynamic in terms of managing workloads and working under pressure.
* Experience in handling global customers
* Customer presentations
* Onshore experience
