For our client in the Telco industry we are looking for a Network Engineer with broad on data networking.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Mechelen

The team that seeks assistance is a small team of highly skilled engineers. They are responsible for the in-home environment at the end customer. You will be responsible for assisting the team to your best extend. You will focus on quality of service. Your task will be focussed on data networks (no telephony or mobile networks). Services that are being delivered are distributed by Wifi, so general Wifi knowledge will definitely be added value. Amongst other tasks you will test the quality of service by writing test plans, assist in architecture and documentation.
Skills:
- Knowledge of IP Protocols;
- IPv4 and IPv6
- DHCP
- Basic routing protocols;
- Quality of service;
- Docsis (asset)
