A Bristol based global information technology company seek an experienced Data Modeller/Data Architect with banking/insurance experience, to work on a Solvency II project - you will need to be strong within: D ata Architecture/Data Analysis/Datamodelling/Data Mapping .

The Data Modeller/Data Architect will u ndertake the production of logical data models (ER and Star Schema) required to support the Solvency II requirements, utilising IBM's Insurance Industry Warehouse model as the framework and extending as necessary.

The Data Modeller/Data Architect will also document and adhere to modelling standards as required. You will also work with Business/Data Analysts on mapping source to target data structures and production of ETL specifications. Confirming models with the appropriate business stakeholders and work with DBAs and other technical staff to support creation of the physical design and implementation.

The Data Modeller/Data Architect will have the following core skills/experience:
Data analysis.
ER Datamodelling.
Use of Datamodelling tools (ERWIN/UML, or other modelling tools).

Star Schema Datamodelling.
Good written communication skills.
Involvement in a Datawarehouse project.
IBM Insurance Industry Warehouse Model.

Solvency II.
Workshop facilitation Skills.
Experience of financial regulation reporting (especially in the areas of Risk and Finance) .
Management Information reporting.
Production of Functional Specifications/Design.
Infosphere Data Architect tool.

Strong data Architect Skills Including:
a. Data Analysis.
b. Datamodelling.
c. Data Mapping.
3. Experience of XSD(Message content flow).
4. Experience of physical data Design.
5. General analysis skills.
6. Strong communicator and stakeholder management skill essential.
