Due to ongoing success this organisation has a requirement for an experienced Data Modeller/Architect to join the team on an initial 6 month contract.
YOUR ROLE
Development and modification of existing and new database designs. Use Erwin to create and update logical and physical data models. Recommend design and coding standards. You will be to work with the Architect's, Business Analyst's and stakeholders across the life cycle to help deliver quality data solutions. It is essential that you have the following experience:
Data Warehouse Design & DataModelling
ETL Software Design
Data Source Acquisition Design
Data Source Modelling
Excellent verbal and writing skills a must. Ability to participate in and lead design sessions that include application developers and occasionally end users.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and or equivalent
Knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Data Modeling & Data Architect or similar role
Knowledge of CA-ERwin including Model Manager a MustTo be successful in the role you will ideally possess:
- The ability to understand the business functional requirements and reporting needs.
- Experience in creating a logical data model and turning it into a physical design
- Develop and deliver scorecards reporting on data quality measures across a range of subject areas
- Assessment to customers and risk to help determine the best course of action and remediation solutions
