MUST HAVE DEGREE IN MATHEMATICS/ENGINEERING/SCIENCE/ECONOMICS

Role of Data Modeller:
-Working with engineers to understand the information they require to make critical asset management decisions
-To leverage data from systems in order to develop mathematical models which help them do this more effectively
-Deploy analytical tools and techniques in order to help continually strive for more efficient and effective asset maintenance policies.

Experience Required of the Data Modeller

-Proven technical ability in the innovative application of mathematical and statistical modelling to real life examples.
-Proven ability to write and communicate clear and concise technical papers and presentations about complex problems.
-At least two years experience outside academia.

Key Tasks of the Data Modeller
-Work with the business to understand the problem/business decision to be made
-Review and understand any work conducted to date
-Conduct the modelling and variable selection
-Collate the data
-Perform the data analysis
-Present the results, actions and recommendations to the stakeholder
