We are looking for an experienced DATA MODELER - WITH BUSINESS ANALYSIS EXP - GENEVA - SWITZERLAND - 6 months +.
NextLink Solution, a Swiss IT Consultancy Company that has been providing both IT services and Staff augmentation solutions Fortune 100 customers for the past 20 years, has an excellent opportunity that can take your career to the next level.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES:
- Business Analysis: gather Business Requirements, Drawing BPMN, Extracting Business Functions, Collecting high level data requirements, Stakeholder Management
- Business Modeling: entering the Business Models into the Enterprise Architect tool.
- Data Modeling: proposing a Solution Data Model to meet the Business Requirements and convincing stakeholders (Business and Technical) to adopt the solution.
- Presenting the outcome of the modelling work and convincing various audiences Business and Technical. Some audiences will be very large (40+ stakeholders).
- Running Quality checks on the released message schemas to make sure the initial requirements are met
- Updating technical documentation (implementation guides).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Great Personal skills withexperience working in a multi-national environment.
- Works collaboratively and constructively.
- Advanced written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
- Data Model specifics:
- Able to propose improvements on an existing Data Model.
- Able to model complex Business Requirements from scratch
- Experience (3 years) with the Data Modeling process and tools (eg Enterprise Architect from Sparx or equivalent)
- Experience (3 years) with the XML Message schemas generation process:
- Collaboratively work with Data Model administrator, Data Architects and other Data Modelers on a shared data model
- Ideally has already generated XML schemas on a large PSS project for an airline.
- Carrying out Quality checks to make sure new releases have been implemented as per requirements
- Experience (3 years) as a Business Analyst
- Good knowledge of the Airline industry is a must.
- Good knowledge of eCommerce processes (payment, order creation, accounting, delivery...) is a plus
- Able to write clear and understandable technical documentation such as Implementation Guides for APIs, Webservices
- Familiar with UML tools, VISIO, API tools
- Able to work with the Business to model a process, produce sequence diagrams, use-case diagrams, state diagrams, identify Business Capabilities/Business Functions.
- Able to learn a new tool (Enterprise Architect Sparx)
- Good at communicating complex notions around Logical Data Models and Message Schemas to business-minded people
- Fluency in English is a Must. An additional working language is a plus.

CONTRACT START DATE: ASAP
