DATA MIGRATION ANALYST- CONTRACT

THE CLIENT
My client is an established leading provider in the global financial services sector. They currently have requirement for an experienced Senior Data Migration Analyst to begin work on a large scale governance project.
The project is the migration of Fineos data (images and contact history) from our client Fineos system to other internal retail systems. The project is 6 to 9 months in duration.
Ideally you would have some knowledge of Fineos (Claims Management application used in the Insurance Industry) and experience working with a Fineos data migration project.
My Client is looking for someone with experience of Fineos Front Office and experience working with Filenet (Image Integration).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Current business processes and target state business model
- Provide an assessment of the capacity, scalability and extensibility of the current installed system and controls.
- Use cases and task scenarios
- Participate in team status reporting/meetings as required
- Contribute to issue resolution processes throughout the project
- Contribute to Project
- Planning process (work breakdown, work package planning, estimating) as required
EXPERIENCE:
- Ideally 5 to 10 years experience, insurance industry background, business systems analyst and QA experience preferably.
- Ability to analyse situations and make solid decisions, using good judgment.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect tool (not essential)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally & written and in formal presentations
- Ability to take business needs and transform them into technical designs for IS developers
- Good understanding of Actuarial processes and systems.
- Good understanding of IS controls in the context of COBIT and ICOFR
