Data Governance Consultant

I am currently hiring a Data Governance Consultant to take on a project with a Brussels based client. There you will work with the latest technologies on a long term project, with the initial contract being for 6 to 12 months.

The client wants a Data Governance Consultant who:

- Has a master degree or equivalent through experience
- Has at least 3 years of experience in a data governance role in a large company
- Has knowledge of Collibra and/or IBM Governance Catalog is a strong plus
- Has a good general knowledge of the banking industry & banking products (retail, commercial banking and private banking)
- has a good knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets
- has industry knowledge on data related government regulatory requirements (GDPR, BCBS 239 )
- is communicative and able to listen: you like to be in contact with several parties in order to get a good insight in the business needs and to propose appropriate solutions
- is analytical and detail-oriented: you collect the data needed, understand the business requirements, develop complex queries and provide reports
- is a true team player, ready to interact with the data office team and data stewards
- is able to deliver a high level of customer service
- is structured and organized
